Harry Burns has been a working musician since the age of 11 playing drums, bass and guitar in various styles and bands. He performs in the pit band for the Summer show choir camps with Burns Music Studio and is the resident drummer for annual student voice recitals.   He performed collaborative percussion with the Bangor Rotary’s Music off Broadway show. Harry is the bassist and guitarist for the Orono High School state champion show choir and plays drums for the state champion Orono Middle School show choir. Professionally, he played in the pit for PTC’s production of Matilda the Musical  and for their Dramatic Academy summer productions of Les Miserables and Bye Bye Birdie.  Harry co-wrote, co-produced and performed the premiere of Dominick Varney’s one woman show “Livin’ for Drag:  The Making of a Queen” and is a founding member of Borzoi, a local band with an active performing calendar. Currently, Harry teaches drums, beginning guitar and ukulele lessons with Burns Music Studio.
